aSocks is a set of Class Wrappers for the SocketTools Library of Internet Components.  aSocks enables the Xbase++ developer to create Internet Enabled Applications quickly and easily.

As simply as creating any of the Xbase++ Classes, you can now "Internet Enable" your applications.  Send and check email, Upload and Download files with FTP, check, post and read News articles from a NNTP News Server, Interact with Web-based applications, POST, GET, etc. and much more.

aSocks is available by itself or bundled with a fully licensed version of the SocketTools Library Edition.

Included in the Bundled Versions are both the aSocks Internet Library AND a fully licensed version of SocketTools by Catalyst Development.

If you already have the SocketTools Library, the aSocks Library can quickly allow you to exploit the functionality of SocketTools without the need to spend hundreds of hours creating the API Interfaces.  It is as simple as creating the Class, as you would any other Xbp Class and link in the aSocks Library.

It is now simple to take full advantage of the Internet from within you own Xbase++ Application.
